Motorcycle Backfires in Time Square Causing Widespread Fear and Panic – But Was It A Motorcycle?

New York – Tuesday, August 6, 2019

Was it an active shooter or a motorcycle that caused fear and mayhem? You decide.

People scrambled in fear of their lives over what’s been reported as a motorcycle backfiring in New York’s famous Time Square.

The authorities stated they received 911 calls reporting and active shooter.  They reassured everyone that the public was in no danger and asked people not to panic.

As one can imagine with the recent shootings in Dayton and El Paso, people are on edge. People reportedly were yelling “He’s got a gun!”, “It’s a Shooter” as they stampeded down the street.

The police stated that 22 people were hurt and 4 of them taken to a hospital.
